A Typical Day

The Title Specialist is responsible for managing key metrics related to a portfolio of properties delivering title and title curative activities according to investor guidelines. As the Specialist , you will maintain a case for each matter in which the specialist will be required to document the title issue and assess risk related to the company and investor and propose relevant solutions.

The Title Specialist will :

Manage and monitor title delivery according to investor guidelines

Research and evaluate findings by attorneys, title companies or business partners

Evaluate title reports and research potential risk of title defect

Assist with processing and payment of invoices

Monitor progress of any title curative activity and keep management up to date

Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values

What You'll Bring

Associate's degree or equivalent work experience

3+ years of relevant work experience

Aptitude for data, reporting, and analysis, desired

Real estate and mortgage industry experience preferred

Must be highly proficient in Excel and Word

Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:

Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role

Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role

Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role

Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.

Salary

$45,000 - $66,000
