Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for an Accounts Payable/Receivable Analyst in Modesto, CA. This role is ideal for candidates with strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills, and the ability to maintain accuracy in a high-volume corporate environment.

Responsibilities Include:

Ensure all accessorial charges are properly approved via standardized processes prior to invoicing (manual and electronic).

Execute daily reporting to identify carrier invoices failing cost tolerance levels; drive resolution and determine root causes.

Establish cadence with carriers/customers to review AP/AR aging schedules and drive timely resolution.

Keep internal stakeholders informed on AP/AR status, issues, and resolution plans through metrics and updates.

Understand key business terms, lines of business, suppliers, and customers.

Build and maintain carrier relationships at multiple levels, especially related to AP/AR.

Collaborate with Carrier Operations and carriers to develop invoicing performance improvement plans.

Gather data and make recommendations for improvements or root-cause analysis.

Work with Carrier Operations and Customer Service teams to drive compliance with standardized processes (accessorial approvals, training, etc.).

Develop and deliver accurate invoicing reports to Carrier Operations and Customer Service teams.

Collaborate daily with Quality team members, Customer Service, and Carrier Operations to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.

Maintain satisfactory and timely attendance.

Comply with all applicable quality, environmental, and safety regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree OR High School Diploma/Equivalency plus 4 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing Operations.

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel .

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience managing carrier/customer AP/AR through an IT based model (TMS).

Experience using scorecards and analytical tools for performance management and problem solving.

Strong customer relations skills with internal and external partners at all levels.

Pay Details: $28.00 per hour
