How you'll make an impact in this role

Lead the diagnostic process by expertly identifying and processing medical specimens, ensuring the lab team receives high-quality samples for timely and accurate patient results.

Create a foundation of safety by maintaining a meticulously organized and sterile work environment, upholding the highest standards of infection control for our team and patients.

Support seamless clinical operations by managing vital supplies and equipment, ensuring the laboratory is always prepared to handle critical testing without interruption.

Document the patient journey through precise data entry and record-keeping, serving as a guardian of the information that informs life-changing medical decisions.

Facilitate clear communication within the healthcare team by managing phone inquiries and administrative needs, helping vital information flow quickly to the providers who need it most.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Medical Laboratory Assistant credentialed from the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP-BOC). Preferred.

Medical Laboratory Assistant credentialed from the American Medical Technologists (AMT). Preferred.

Education:

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
