This position requires an employee to be onsite at Vadnais Heights, St. Peter or Moose Lake MSOP at least 50% of the time, with some opportunity to perform work from a telework location.

The Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP) is a residential, sex offense specific treatment program in a modified therapeutic community and secure setting that provides services to over 700 individuals who have been civilly committed for sexual offending. MSOP is a national leader in the industry and is committed to providing services on the leading edge of the comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and management of clients.
The Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP) is seeking an individual to join our team for an exciting and rewarding opportunity as an Agency Policy Specialist. In this role, the Agency Policy Specialist coordinates all program policy/procedures and licensing activity to ensure compliance with all oversight laws, statutes, rules, regulation, state policies, DCT policies, and MSOP policies and practices.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Developing, reviewing, and monitoring MSOP policies and procedures
Coordinating program licensing and compliance activities
Drafting, reviewing, and updating policies, procedures, and compliance documentation
Developing, coordinating and maintaining program audit process and application
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED and
Three years of experience coordinating policy/procedure development, compliance and licensing in a secure residential facility setting. Experience must include:
Operational experience within a secure facility setting
Writing, editing and coordinating a program or agency policy and procedure system
Evaluating, maintaining and coordinating a program/agency's compliance and/or licensing activity
Interpreting and applying standards/rules to program operations
Conducting incident investigations and coordinating compliance audit activity
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related fields such as public administration, business or social science
Experience related to regulatory oversight of secure facilities including but not limited to Minnesota Department of Human Services, Civil Commitment Statues, Minnesota Department of Health, State Fire Marshal and/or Hospital Review Board
Experience developing, reviewing or implementing MSOP and DCT policies and programs
