It's more than a job

As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. For example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for everyday lunches and family celebrations. The Warehouse Clerk will manage communications between Inbound department and the customer. The Warehouse Clerk will concentrate with the discrepancies and will be working directly the with customer and will assist in adding some processes in warehouse to provide the customer with information on handling faulty units. The Warehouse Clerk position will be in the warehouse 100% of the time, Monday to Friday from 9am-6pm.

How you create impact

You will perform administrative tasks for area or shift

Maintain filing systems and documents per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)

You will work with customers and employees, answering questions regarding shipment times, product cuts, loads not picked up by the carrier, and damage claims

Coordinate processing of export orders in the Automated Export System (AES).

Manage the Warehouse Management System (WMS), update area or shift metrics.

You will be the secondary support of local team.

What we would like you to bring

High School diploma or equivalent

2+ years customer service experience working in a warehouse

Knowledge order management systems or Manhattan

Knowledge of Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)

Person with analytical skill and having excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel knowledge), SQL etc.

Minimum 5 years of experience in WH operations

Good communication & customer handling skill

Should have WMS/SAP knowledge
