Administrative Assistant Clerk - Keep Operations Running with Precision and Impact

PDS Tech Commercial, partnering with a distinguished leader in the aerospace industry, is seeking a highly organized and detail driven Administrative Assistant Clerk for a full time, 6 month onsite consulting role in Opa Locka, FL (33056) . In this critical support position, you will help maintain the backbone of operational efficiency-ensuring accurate documentation, streamlined workflows, and reliable administrative support for a fast paced aerospace environment.

About the Role

As an Administrative Assistant Clerk, you will play an essential role in supporting daily office operations, managing critical records, and ensuring documentation accuracy across multiple internal systems. Your work will directly contribute to quality, compliance, and organizational effectiveness, helping a leading aerospace team stay audit ready and mission focused.

What You'll Do (Day to Day Responsibilities)

Maintain and organize both physical and digital files with a strong focus on accuracy.

Perform quality checks, archiving tasks, and manage records to support compliance needs.

Prepare, scan, and upload documents into the D2 system.

Maintain databases, filing structures, and documentation repositories.

Create and update documents, reports, and spreadsheets as needed.

Perform accurate data entry and maintain data integrity across systems.

Order and manage office supplies to ensure smooth daily operations.

Assist with billing, invoicing, and basic bookkeeping tasks.

Provide general administrative support to ensure departmental efficiency.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma (HS Diploma required).

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Comfortable managing and scanning documents, including digital file processing.

Ability to maintain records and work within databases or filing systems.

Proficient with basic office software: documents, spreadsheets, data entry.

Strong communication skills and ability to work onsite Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM.

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous administrative, clerical, or records management experience.

Familiarity with document control systems (experience with D2 a plus).

Experience with billing, invoicing, or basic bookkeeping processes.

Schedule & Work Environment

Full time, onsite in Opa Locka, FL

Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (1st shift)

Pay Rate: $15.50 per hour

Pay Details: $15.50 per hour
