Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Cartersville, Georgia. This is a Contract position with the potential for long-term employment, offering an opportunity to contribute to essential financial operations in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable processes, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Review and verify invoices for proper documentation, accuracy, and approval before processing.

Process vendor payments in compliance with established procedures and deadlines.

Address vendor inquiries promptly and resolve discrepancies with professionalism.

Organize and maintain accounts payable files, reports, and records according to company guidelines.

Assist with monthly closing activities and provide support for finance-related projects as needed.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to financial policies.

Follow safety guidelines and departmental procedures to ensure compliance.

Contribute to team objectives while delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Utilize financial systems effectively, including SAP or similar platforms, to manage invoice processing and reporting. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Familiarity with SAP or similar financial systems is preferred.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Excellent problem-solving abilities to address and resolve discrepancies efficiently.

Effective communication skills to interact professionally with vendors and colleagues.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail in processing financial data.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
