Description We are looking for an experienced and empathetic Customer Service Representative to join our team on a contract basis in The Woodlands, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for addressing customer inquiries, resolving payment-related issues, and ensuring client satisfaction through clear and detail-oriented communication. This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to process improvements while maintaining positive relationships with customers.

Responsibilities:

Communicate payment statuses, outstanding balances, and resolution timelines with customers in a detail-oriented and empathetic manner.

Assist customers in resolving failed payments, including declined transactions, insufficient funds, and chargebacks, by providing clear guidance.

Collaborate with Accounts Receivable and Finance teams to ensure customer communications align with account activity and necessary corrections.

Accurately document all customer interactions, commitments, and resolutions in case management systems.

Identify recurring customer issues or trends and share insights with leadership to support process enhancements.

Handle sensitive conversations with customers, de-escalating concerns and preserving long-term relationships.

Coordinate with internal departments, including Finance, IT, Operations, and Customer Success, to ensure timely follow-ups and issue resolution.

Provide customers with clear expectations regarding next steps, timelines, and available support resources. Requirements - Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a call center or similar environment.

Strong skills in answering inbound and outbound calls and handling order entry.

Ability to effectively manage and resolve payment-related issues such as failed transactions and chargebacks.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and internal teams.

Proficiency in documenting customer interactions and maintaining accurate records.

Analytical mindset to identify recurring issues and suggest process improvements.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer support.
