Description
AWS Infrastructure Services Supply Chain is seeking a supply chain professional to function as the end-to-end supply owner of our archive storage hardware platforms. In this role, you will build the supply strategy that ensures we can reliably deliver the capacity needed to enable the lowest cost and highest performance archive in the cloud. This role is predominately focused on the assurance of supply, but success also requires the ability to manage commercial aspects of a complex and multi-tiered supply chain.
You'll join a diverse team of supply chain specialists, engineers (software, hardware and network), security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You'll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you'll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.
Our organization, AWS Infrastructure Services, owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we're the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain - and we're looking for talented people who want to help.
The successful candidate must be a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, has high attention to detail, and a proven ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. Candidates must have excellent analytical capabilities, program management experience, be comfortable diving deep into data, have strong writing skills, lead executive-level reviews, and effectively influence decisions at all levels of the company.
The ideal candidate will have familiarity with at-scale hardware supply mechanisms, preferably related to server, storage or networking platforms.

Handle multiple projects at once, deal with ambiguity and rapidly-changing priorities.
