Systems Control is looking for a Project Manager, Electrical Test to manage the scheduling and planning of the electrical test team for performing final testing and validation of our equipment enclosures at customer job sites.

A Day In The Life

Follow projects from panel wire through field completion to facilitate test productivity

Work with Test team leaders to track and communicate issues found by the panel and EE test teams to the appropriate stakeholders

Work with Logistics and Testing department leaders to plan and schedule the electrical testing resources necessary to complete each project's remaining scope of work at customer sites

Participate in EE field services kick-off meetings with the required stakeholders, documenting required information to develop a detailed electrical testing scope of work

Coordinate with the Field Service scheduling supervisor to align dates for the test team to be at sites

Implement a detailed communication plan to inform stakeholders of daily progress and issues that arise

Develop relationships and schedule contract test company resources to augment our test team

Ensure test documentation is completed and stored in correct locations

Track team and project performance metrics

Perform quarterly field test audits

Identify continuous improvement opportunities and implement solutions with input from others

Schedule and track equipment and vehicles required for field test crews and their related maintenance

What will help you thrive in this role?

Degree in Engineering, Business, or Management-related field, or equivalent education and work experience. Electrical Engineering background a plus.

3+ years of project management experience; PMP Certification is preferred

Familiarity with Power Transmission & Distribution systems and their protection and control, preferred

Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Effective at leading meetings with a clearly defined agenda and expected outcomes

Ability to work well under tight deadlines

Can resiliently work through an issue with unclear or ambiguous information

Effective at communicating issues and concerns, escalating for timely resolution when necessary

Proficient in MS Office Suite
