THE POSITION

The Office of Administration/Enterprise Technical Services Office is seeking a highly motivated IT professional for the position of Information Technology Generalist Administrator 1. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
An IT Generalist Administrator 1 implements and maintains best-practice policies for the Health and Human Services Delivery Center (HHSDC) information and technology systems and services under the guidance of architectural standards. This position uses ITIL-based functionality, focusing on Service Strategy and Service Delivery methodologies to execute day-to-day technical tasks and provide technical guidance to team members. Work includes developing and maintaining technical documentation, standards, processes, and procedures to support the HHSDC service delivery process, ensuring compliance with IT policies, procedures, and security standards. This professional is responsible for leading and supporting special IT projects from initiation through completion. Communication is key as you support the establishment of a unified IT team culture by collaborating with internal departments and external vendors to define project requirements and deliverables. Additional duties:
Provide technical support and troubleshoot for project-related systems and infrastructure
Serve as a technical liaison between IT and other departments for special initiatives
Independently troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely and cost-effective manner
Identify and communicate technical risks associated with technology implementations and operations within the security operations teams

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. You must come into the office two days a week at minimum. You will be expected to work from home (telework) for the reminder of your work schedule. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year as an Information Technology Generalist2, Applications Developer 2, Database Analyst, Information Security Specialist 1, or Network Specialist 2; or
Five years of information technology experience that includes two years of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, database maintenance or database development, data analysis and data model development, administration of information technology security programs, or other information technology support/administration services; or
Three years of information technology experience that includes two years of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, database maintenance or database development, data analysis and data model development, administration of information technology security programs, or other information technology support/administration services, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; or
One year of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, database maintenance or database development, data analysis and data model development, administration of information technology security programs, or other information technology support/administration services, and a bachelor's degree in any information technology field; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
