As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps reduce security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with staff and visitors, document observations, and respond to concerns with calm, service-focused professionalism. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and shoppers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a retail location.

Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout sales floors, entrances and exits, backroom areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical calls, and/or alarms, and request assistance from management and/or public emergency services as needed.

Monitor for suspicious or unusual activity, help to deter theft and/or disruptive behavior, and promptly report observations according to post orders.

Complete shift logs and incident reports, communicate key information during shift turnover, and support store personnel with customer concerns and policy questions as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

Have 1 or more years of security-related experience.

This is primarily a driving post.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
