You will greet and screen visitors, verify credentials, manage badges and logs, and monitor assigned areas while staying visible to help reduce security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility facility.

Control access at gates and/or lobbies by verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining access logs and other required documentation.

Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems; respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as required.

Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, substations, yards, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized entry, theft, and/or damage; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Support operational continuity by coordinating with control rooms, maintenance teams, and/or third-party vendors for scheduled access, deliveries, and work permits, escalating concerns through the proper channels.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

A minimum of 1 year of security experience is required.

Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
