As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help manage access points, screen people and items entering the facility, complete routine patrols and visible presence checks, and communicate concerns to site leadership. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

Conduct screening of employees, visitors and/or drivers by verifying identification, managing visitor logs, checking credentials and controlling access points according to site guidelines.

Screen packages, parcels and/or equipment as required, observing for prohibited items or unusual conditions and documenting findings per post orders.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, dispatching notifications and completing required reports.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, loading areas and perimeter, and monitor cameras and alarms as assigned to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.

Be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
