As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Columbus, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors, respond to questions and concerns, and communicate observations clearly to site leaders. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or local responders as directed by post orders.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter, with working conditions varying by location.

Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, observing for unusual activity, and directing individuals to the appropriate check-in process.

Complete reports and documentation for security-related incidents, patrol observations, and shift activities, and communicate relevant updates during shift handoff.

Minimum Requirements:

CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
