You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will also support access control operations and communicate clearly with staff and visitors, delivering a strong customer experience. Pay Rate: $19.31 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and post orders, including emergency response activities when appropriate.

Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, work areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Control access at designated points by checking identification and/or credentials, verifying visitor authorization, and directing deliveries to approved locations per site procedures.

Monitor alarms, radios, and/or surveillance systems as assigned, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, provide assistance as directed, and complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs.

Minimum Requirements:

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
