As an Access Control Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will help manage entry points, check credentials and badges, greet visitors, and monitor activity to help reduce security-related issues. You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible, and communicate clearly with site teams to support a smooth daily operation. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, security-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.

Control entry and exit at designated access points by checking credentials, issuing visitor passes, verifying authorization, and directing visitors to required check-in locations.

Monitor and document access activity using post logs and/or electronic systems, report irregularities, and communicate updates to site contacts per post orders.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, supporting evacuations, and completing required reports.

Conduct regular and random patrols of entry areas, adjacent workspaces, and perimeter zones as assigned to help to deter unauthorized access, with working environments and conditions varying by site area.

Minimum Requirements:

Have 2+ years of security experience.

Be 21+ years of age.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
