As a Security Officer Truck Access in Winter Haven, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support daily security-related operations. You will maintain a visible presence, conduct routine patrols, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $14.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and report unusual activity or access concerns to site leadership.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with Allied Universal management and/or the customer as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols of docks, warehouse areas, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify security-related concerns and policy violations.

Support shipping and receiving operations by helping control vehicle and pedestrian traffic, directing visitors and/or contractors, and following site post orders for restricted areas and delivery access.

Minimum Requirements:

A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.

A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
