As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations using a computer or tablet as needed, communicate clearly with site teams, and deliver customer service with integrity. Pay Rate: $20.25 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or shipping documentation, and directing truck traffic to designated areas according to post orders.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.

Conduct regular and random patrols of docks, yard areas, parking lots, and building perimeters, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.

Complete required reports such as incident reports, shift logs, and checkpoint activity, and communicate observations to Allied Universal management and site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

Have 2+ years of security-related experience.

Be 21+ years of age.

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.

Have loss prevention experience preferred.

Hold CPR certification preferred, which may be completed post hire.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
