As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication and customer service. You will document observations and respond to concerns while working as part of a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, with a caring culture that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating notifications to appropriate personnel.

Conduct regular and random patrols of corridors, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or policy concerns.

Monitor access points and visitor flow as assigned, verifying identification and/or authorization, directing individuals to appropriate destinations, and reporting suspicious behavior.

Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports, communicate significant events to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision, and support investigations as requested.

Minimum Requirements:

Must have at least 1 year of security experience.

Hospital vaccines are required.

Must be willing to work in a hospital morgue.

Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.

Must have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
