As a Security Officer Access Screening in Tampa, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support smooth site access for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will remain visible, perform routine patrols, and help to reduce security-related incidents through strong communication and customer service. Mon07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Tue07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Wed07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Thur07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Fri07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery traffic in accordance with location protocols.

Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including shipping, receiving, parking, and perimeter areas, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Help to deter unauthorized access, maintain awareness of truck yard and warehouse activity, and support order and professionalism at a busy logistics and distribution location.

Minimum Requirements:

A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
