How you'll make an impact in this role

Develop and execute personalized, evidence-based respiratory care plans to restore optimal lung function and ensure rapid patient stability.

Manage advanced respiratory care modalities, specialized equipment, and life-support systems, providing critical, life-saving interventions for patients with acute insufficiencies.

Evaluate the effectiveness of all respiratory treatments and administered medications based on real-time patient outcomes, making timely clinical adjustments to optimize recovery.

Respond immediately to all cardiopulmonary emergencies and resuscitation team calls, serving as a critical member of the rapid response team to stabilize acute crises.

Empower patients and their families by providing clear, compassionate education on their condition and treatment to ensure safe, confident self-management after discharge.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.

Education:

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
