Multiple Openings for Software Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related field such as Science, Engineering, or Mathematics. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree. Agile experience is preferred. A Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required, with preference given to candidates who hold an interim or active secret clearance at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

Collaborate as a member of a cross-functional team responsible for research, design, development, and testing of software and tools.

Develop new work products or enhance existing applications, systems, or embedded products.

Conduct coding, testing, and documentation of software solutions to advance technology solutions.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in C++ programming.

Experience in software development and agile methodologies.

Knowledge of Kubernetes, Microservices, and Python.

Familiarity with Ansible, Prometheus, and Grafana.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Strong understanding of software development processes, software engineering concepts, principles, and theories.

Creative thinker capable of quickly applying new information to solve challenging problems.

Team player who thrives in collaborative environments.

Experience with Spring Boot and AWS/Cloud technologies.

Work Environment

This position is based on-site in Manassas with some work-from-home flexibility. Employees may choose a 9/80 schedule if desired, with mandatory in-office hours from 10 AM to 3 PM. Remote work is permitted before or after these hours.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Manassas, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $50.00/hr.
