The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Growth plays a critical leadership role at the intersection of Commercial strategy and Supply Chain execution , ensuring WK Kellogg Co can profitably deliver growth today while building the capabilities needed for the future.
This role serves as the primary Supply Chain business partner to Commercial , acting as the single point of contact (SPOC) for platform-level initiatives, growth programs, and complex supply chain decisions. The role determines the "what," builds the strategy, and mobilizes cross-functional teams to enable on-time, cost-effective execution-while also shaping the longer-term supply chain network, capacity, and capabilities required to support future growth.
While the role has a strong long-term, strategic focus , it also requires hands-on leadership in solving real-time delivery and capability gaps when plans deviate, often leading cross-functional problem-solving efforts to protect commercial delivery.
This is role based in our Battle Creek, Michigan Corporate Headquarters.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Platform Business Partner & Strategic Connector
Serve as the primary Supply Chain SPOC for Commercial teams, platform initiatives, and growth programs.
Translate Commercial objectives into clear Supply Chain strategies , feasibility assessments, and execution paths.
Ensure alignment between Supply Chain and Commercial functional plans , enabling profitable growth.
Act as the first point of contact for Commercial teams on Supply Chain-related questions and for Supply Chain teams on Commercial-driven needs or impacts.
Growth Enablement & Future State Planning
Determine future Supply Chain needs based on longer-term Commercial outlook, including capacity, capabilities, and network implications.
Identify, assess, and shape new product (PDR), commercial activity (PWR), and process ideas on behalf of Supply Chain.
Evaluate whether initiatives can be implemented with existing capabilities or require future capability building .
Lead or support business case development for select Supply Chain investments tied to growth.
Capacity, Network & Cost Optimization
Analyze current and future network capacity to optimize cost, throughput, and service.
Assess SKU complexity, transitions, and end-of-life scenarios with line-centric teams, providing Supply Chain inputs into SLAM and related processes.
Provide strategic insights on where and how products should run across the network.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Issue Resolution
Act as a critical escalation point when timelines, demand, capabilities, or site performance are misaligned.
Lead cross-functional problem-solving efforts-especially when issues impact commercial delivery or profitability.
Serve as the gatekeeper for profitable execution , balancing commercial ambition with supply chain realities.
Collaborate with line-centric teams to resolve operational bottlenecks , SKU-specific challenges, and cost-impacting decisions.
Commercialization & Execution Support
Provide technical and strategic guidance during commercialization and startup phases, with continued engagement as needed.
Partner with line-centric teams to ensure project performance metrics are met , and lead action planning when gaps exist.
Ensure Supply Chain readiness to deliver initiatives on time, within cost, and at expected performance levels .
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree is required, preferred in a related field.
Demonstrated strength across core Supply Chain competencies, efficiency, innovation, and project leadership.
Prior experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry, preferably within food or beverage.
Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence across Commercial, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance
Deep understanding of manufacturing, capacity planning, network strategy, and commercialization
Proven ability to translate strategy into execution , while navigating ambiguity and competing priorities
Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex, high-impact decisions
Strong analytical skills, including business case development and long-range planning
A balance of strategic thinking and hands-on problem solving
Compensation Insights:
Salary Range: $137,040 - $171,300
Salary pay ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, the successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, certifications, qualifications, relevant education or training, and local market conditions.
