Join the inpatient rehabilitation team at Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego as a Physical Therapist, working at a Level 1 Trauma and certified Stroke Center. Collaborate with a dynamic team to treat diverse cases, while delivering compassionate care to our local community. The ideal candidate will empathize with patients and contribute to providing exceptional care.

The Physical Therapist conducts evaluations, assessments, prognosis, treatment, and education as prescribed by a qualified medical practitioner, in compliance with the Physical Therapy Practice Act and Title 16 regulations.

*$4K New Hire Retention Incentive: 30% at 3 months and 70% at 12 months, $3K Relocation if movingfrom 100 miles.

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met

Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)

Must remain in original department/specialty

Must remain in original Job Title

Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonusunlessspecifically noted in your offer letter.

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy

Licensed as a PT in the State of California OR License Pending (Must have license in hand before start)

Current BLS Certificate from the American Heart Association

Preferred Experience:

At least one year of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care setting

At least one year of experience as a PT in an outpatient orthopedic setting
