Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Westborough, Massachusetts. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone who excels in managing financial tasks and has a strong commitment to accuracy and efficiency. The role involves supporting various accounting processes and contributing to special projects as needed.

Responsibilities:

Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision.

Perform accurate data entry to maintain and update financial records.

Assist in handling a backlog of invoices, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

Utilize QuickBooks to track and manage accounting activities.

Extract and organize financial data for reporting and analysis purposes.

Support special accounting projects as assigned to streamline operations.

Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve workflow efficiency.

Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information while adhering to company policies.

Provide general administrative support to the accounting department as needed. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

Proficiency in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks.

Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

Familiarity with invoice processing and financial record management.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Strong communication skills for collaboration within a team.

Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to high standards.
