Pratt & Whitney's North Berwick Aero Systems organization has an exciting leadership opportunity for a Sr. Manager, 2nd shift Operations. In this role, you will lead all aspects of the onsite 2nd shift operation in North Berwick (Parts Center, Modular Assembly, and Aftermarket Operations). You will provide direction and guidance to the 2nd shift team who are responsible for executing the production plans on 2nd shift.

The Operations Manager - 2nd Shift is responsible for driving extraordinary performance in all success areas: Environmental, Health & Safety, quality, delivery, cost, and cultivating employee engagement.
The Operations Manager - 2nd Shift will continue to build and develop a team that is responsive and flexible, empowering employees from cell leaders to operators. Understanding and meeting customer expectations is a strength you'll need in this role.
The Operations Manager - 2nd Shift will be responsible for manufacturing standard work on your shift, managing critical part plans to completion, and critical resource allocation to ensure that business metrics are met. Excellent organization, prioritization, and interpersonal skills are important. To be successful, the Operations Manager - 2nd Shift will embrace Customer Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE) which is our Operating System and a lean manufacturing vision. Drive World-class safety culture is maintained and respond to all EH&S requirements promptly
Execution to manufacturing standard work (MSW) on your shift
Coaching and mentoring both hourly and salary employees
Conduct live Tier walks at shift changeover for all businesses.
Develop, track and close action items to eliminate production road blocks
Control quality, productivity and process flow to meet MRP requirements while ensuring a high level of customer happiness
Address issues and engage the workforce in achieving cell goals
Hold employees accountable while maintaining a key working relationship
Ownership of 2nd shift performance for the site.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's degree and minimum of 10 years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, program/project management, quality or similar environment OR an Master's Degree and minimum 7 years' relevant experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, program/project management, quality or similar environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office products
Demonstrated experience working and collaborating with multiple levels of management
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
Demonstrated experience meeting commitments in a deadline driven environment; ability to balance and resolve conflicting priorities
Qualifications We Prefer:
CORE (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence) and Lean experience in a manufacturing environment
Understanding of strategic and business implications and works to provide best P&W solutions
MRP/SAP experience

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
