Join our new Industrial Manufacturing Technician Registered Apprenticeship for High School (Junior year students only) and gain the knowledge, skills, and abilities you need to have a successful manufacturing career! Interstates is currently seeking motivated young men and women to join our program as Production Tech Apprentices. This role will provide direct support to our Fort Collins manufacturing operations. An ideal candidate will be results driven, safety-minded, and work well with a team.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Displays a positive and enthusiastic attitude

Takes the initiative to learn systems and processes

Takes a proactive approach to problem solving

Assembling pre-fabricated electrical construction material

Assembling and pre-wiring light fixtures, receptacles, and switches

Bending and threading conduit

Fabricates support structures by cutting, bending, and welding components

Other duties may be assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

High school Junior education level

16 years of age

Ability to commit 20 hours/week (during school), 40+ hours/week during Summer

Preferred Skills:

Excellent verbal communication

Ability to work cooperatively with others and build effective relationships

Display a positive attitude

Strong attention to detail

Be results driven and safety minded

Ability to routinely lift 50-75lbs

Location & Travel: The position is located in Fort Collins, CO. Applicants must be local or willing to relocate to be considered.
