General Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a related field. Two years of experience in a related field. Experience in higher education is preferred. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.

Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties:

Performs moderately complex administrative and supervisory duties for the American Democracy Project Coordinator within the Center for Community Engagement ( CCE ).

This is a full-time, temporary, benefits eligible, grant funded position expected to end on or before 4/30/2027. Continuation of this position is contingent upon continued funding.

Primary Responsibilities (Staff Positions Only):

Oversees the American Democracy Project programs in the Center for Community Engagement ( CCE ). Prepares and reviews reports on the effectiveness of program activities. Confers with CCE leadership and employees on program issues and problems and recommends solutions. Coordinates, monitors, and evaluates programs. Recommends program guidelines, procedures, policies, rules, and regulations. Oversees the work of graduate assistants and student workers. Researches and keeps abreast of local, state, and federal laws. Schedules appointments. Plans travel arrangements. Hires, onboards, and offboards student workers. Performs other related duties as assigned.
