Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. Responsibilities You will perform or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration. You will perform functions such as formulation of budget and cost estimates to support plans, programs and activities, including presenting and defending budget estimates before authorities, review and evaluate budget requests etc. You will analyze and recommend cost and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization's programs and administrative operations. You will perform a variety of fiscal, accounting or financial management duties and responsibilities. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Proficiency in financial analysis techniques, budgeting processes, financial reporting, financial modeling, and data analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skill, as well as the ability to interpret and apply financial regulations and policies. Proficiency in using financial software and tools such as spreadsheets, databases, financial management systems. Ability to multi-task and prioritize. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related OR A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience If you are using education to meet all or part of the qualification requirements, you must submit a copy of your qualifying transcripts which includes degree information (institution name, dates, course title, semester/quarter hours, and grade/degree earned). Education must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in order for it to be credited towards qualifications (https://www.ed.gov/). Failure to provide all of the required information as stated in this vacancy announcement may result in an ineligible rating or may affect the overall rating. Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the qualification requirements if the applicant can provide documentation indicating that the foreign education is comparable to that received in an accredited educational institution in the United States.
