About the Opportunity This is an open position with FirstEnergy Service Company, a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp., ON-SITE - at the corporate headquarters in Akron, OH. This position will report to the Manager, Talent Acquisition and supports both the College Recruiting team and the FirstEnergy Ambassador Network (FAN) by utilizing a high level of administrative knowledge and technical expertise. The College Recruiting team supports and serves all FirstEnergy business units and management teams as involved in hiring processes associated with our Co-op/Intern Program and the conversion of graduating co-ops/interns to full-time employment. The FAN is a structured volunteer-based program that leverages over 500 FE employees to support long and near-term recruitment of a diverse talent pool, aligning with the overall FE recruiting strategy. Providing excellent administrative support and oversight to these two important programs is critical to the functionality of the team and is utilized to support all the work activities completed within the department. Responsibilities include:

Performing a variety of complex technical administrative assignments requiring initiative, judgment and well-developed knowledge and skills.

Coordinating background screening and drug testing, inclusive of results verification and compliance adherence knowledge.

Event planning for registration and coordination of college and general career fairs/events, recruiter travel arrangements, and associated materials inventorying and shipping coordination.

Utilizing the Oracle Recruiting Cloud "Empower" Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage various stages of the recruiting process.

Monitoring and managing the internal general recruiting mailbox (GenRecruit) and the external mailbox, exercising appropriate judgment in responding to inquiries.

Coordinating the scheduling of employment interviews and utilizing the Concur tool to make candidate travel arrangements as necessary.

Partnering with Recruiters in the preparation, proofing, and distribution of employment offer letters.

Providing administrative support for the FirstEnergy Ambassador Network, including assisting with maintenance of the program's SharePoint site, processing of invoices for Ambassador teams, coordination of events, and other activities as necessary.

Administering and scoring of pre-employment testing, including obtaining certified ability to administer and score EEI tests, and all associated testing support processes.

Maintaining information on relevant internal SharePoint sites, and partnering with Communications to add content to the external FirstEnergy Careers website, as needed.

Supporting all team members with routine, day to day, and administrative activities.

Providing administrative support to Recruiting leadership including invoice payment processing, travel arrangement coordination, and telephone support.

Maintaining a high degree of confidentiality on projects and employee-related information.

Taking initiative to solve problems and bring issues to closure.
