Job Title: Account Development Representative

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a new delivery program launching in the area. The role involves recruiting local businesses to join a new delivery partner program. You will collaborate with a Field Manager and other local contractors to visit prospective businesses, pitch the program, qualify businesses, guide them through the application process, drive referrals through community organizations, and coordinate recruitment events. The position requires travel within a two-hour driving distance and offers commission opportunities.

Responsibilities

Visit prospective businesses door-to-door in targeted towns within a two-hour driving distance.

Present and pitch the new program opportunity to prospective businesses to generate interest.

Qualify prospective businesses and guide them through the application process, while managing activities and pipelines in Salesforce.

Support the Field Manager in planning and hosting recruitment events in the community, such as lunch and learns and town hall meetings.

Collaborate with the Field Manager to engage local influencers, including chambers of commerce and economic development associations.

Import Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis to manage partner data.

Essential Skills

1-2 years of experience in sales and/or customer service.

Required experience in outside/field sales.

CRM experience, with Salesforce being preferred.

Bilingual in Spanish preferred (2 out of 4 candidates must be bilingual).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Experience in roles involving sales and/or negotiation with customers.

Professionalism, enthusiasm for teamwork, and a high sense of urgency.

Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities for field applicants.

Tech-savvy with experience in multiple systems and technology.

Ability to travel up to four hours round trip daily.

Work Environment

This is a field-based role, requiring you to spend 4-5 days a week in the field recruiting small businesses. The remaining work is done remotely. You will support the Minneapolis region, with compensation including uncapped commission, PTO eligibility after six months, a phone bill expense allowance, and mileage reimbursement.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.50 - $28.50/hr.
