Job Title: Engineering Administrative Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Engineering Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role involves creating and maintaining essential engineering documents and ensuring the consistency and accuracy of item setups within our systems. The ideal candidate will have experience within an engineering setting and experience with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

Create bills of materials.

Develop item masters.

Assemble drawing packets for field construction use.

Update ERP System for price changes to items.

Initiate ERP System cost rollup.

Ensure consistency of item setup in ERP System.

Maintain hard copy files for new tower and reconstruction projects.

Keep the Engineering library current.

Revise the Engineering Standards Manual and Design Booklet as directed.

Create parts using markups.

Coordinate submission of group timesheets to Accounting.

Become familiar with cooling tower structures and components.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Adobe, and Blue Beam.

Ability to multitask and manage data analysis.

Experience with Jobscope or other ERP systems.

Experience in the field of engineering, drafting, and design.

Ability to create bills of materials.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Functional in using spreadsheets, word processing, and databases.

Understanding of document creation.

Knowledge of Jobscope is a plus.

Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Effective communication skills and ability to foster a team environment.

Work Environment

The position is based in an office environment in Kansas City, where all engineering and design work is conducted, along with office support. The team consists of 14 members, including Engineering Admins, Engineering Technicians, Engineers, a supervisor, and a VP. The typical shift is Monday through Friday, day shift, with rare weekend work if needed.

This is a Permanent position based out of Edwardsville, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $50000.00/yr.
