Maintenance Mechanic / Engineer

Job Description

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for performing both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting of high-speed printing equipment. The role involves ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency of printing lines through preventive maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

Conduct mechanical and electrical troubleshooting of high-speed printing equipment.

Perform preventive maintenance on printing machinery to ensure efficient operation.

Handle electrical tasks involving 110-220-480 voltage and three-phase motor controls.

Carry out mechanical repairs on rollers, pneumatics, and calibration.

Execute maintenance repair tasks as required.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.

Experience with maintenance of high-speed printing equipment.

Knowledge of electrical systems including 110-220-480 voltage and three-phase motor controls.

Ability to handle mechanical components such as rollers and pneumatics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience as a printing equipment mechanic.

Work Environment

The work environment is clean and involves working with high-speed printing lines. Employees will train on the first shift from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Subsequent shifts include the second shift from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM and the third shift from 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Napa, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
