Summary You will serve as a Deputy Technical Warrant Holder for Propellants and Energetics Propulsion in the Explosive Ordnance Engineering Group (SEA05E) in the Naval Systems Engineering Directorate (SEA 05) of NAVSEA HQ FIELD SUPPORT. This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-04 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15. Responsibilities You will support Naval munitions and Propulsion Technical Warrant Holders (TWH), through direct support to Navy and Marine Corps munition programs from design and development through production and in-fleet service. You will directly support the TWH in maintaining relevant specifications and standards within the warranted area. You will be responsible for acquisition development, fielding, and sustainment of the program. You will serve as a recognized expert and consultant to ensure reliability and accuracy in the identification, development and implementation of recommended solutions to highly complex problems. You will provide authoritative technical, scientific, and/or professional advice to senior level leadership concerning unusual or critical problems that often affect the work of internal and external stakeholders. Additional Information This position has a control point; thus the salary range may be capped at GS-15, step 05, which is equivalent to $189,950.
