Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Mooresville, Indiana. This role is essential in supporting tax-related administrative tasks and ensuring smooth operations during peak seasons. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills. This role is Monday-Friday, in-office, and part-time hours. 10AM-2PM each day or 9AM-1PM each day.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage the workflow for client tax preparation processes.

Support clients with completing intake forms and onboarding procedures.

Schedule meetings for tax preparers and maintain an organized calendar.

Prepare tax returns for printing and assist clients with signing documentation.

Prioritize and organize tasks to meet critical tax filing deadlines.

Handle electronic document management, including scanning, uploading, and database organization.

Communicate effectively through email and phone to address client inquiries.

Review and compile documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Perform general administrative duties such as photocopying, faxing, and data entry.

Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations during tax season.

Requirements - Previous experience in a tax office is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn and work hard is essential.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Familiarity with tools such as Gmail, Google Calendar, and Slack is a plus.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Proficiency in handling electronic and physical document management.

Attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks.

Experience with basic administrative functions, including answering calls and managing correspondence. TalentMatch®
