The Marriott Orlando Airport Lakeside is seeking a high-energy, results-driven Assistant Director of Events and Catering to lead our Catering Sales and Event operations. This is a hands-on leadership role. The ideal candidate is a passionate, results-driven with a proven track record of achieving goals and building strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

-Assist in Food & Beverage/Catering revenue growth through strategic promotions.

-Lead, motivate, and support sales and catering team members to exceed targets.

-Meet or exceed revenue goals for guest rooms and events.

-Coordinate with internal departments to deliver seamless guest experiences.

-Oversee hiring, training, coaching, and evaluations of Events & Catering staff.

-Monitor departmental expenses and payroll within budgetary guidelines.

-3+ years' experience as an Event Manager at a full- service property (400+ rooms, 25,000+ sq. ft. meeting space).

-Marriott CI/TY experience preferred.

-Previous experience in the Orlando market a plus.

-Strong organizational, financial, communication, and leadership skills.

Paid time off available after 6 month. Medical, Dental, Vision available. 401K match. 60,000-65,000
