Accounting Manager/Supervisor

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. This contract-to-permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to manage key financial operations, including month-end close processes, multi-state sales tax compliance, and forecasting. Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to maintain efficient financial operations.

Reconcile cash accounts and prepare forecasts to support strategic decision-making.

Ensure compliance with multi-state sales tax regulations and reporting requirements.

Handle payroll duties as needed, providing support in the absence of HR personnel.

Review and post journal entries to maintain integrity of the general ledger.

Prepare and analyze financial statements to support audits and organizational goals.

Utilize NetSuite software for various accounting tasks and reporting.

Collaborate with leadership to improve financial processes and ensure alignment with business objectives. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or financial management roles.

Proficiency in NetSuite software is required.

Strong knowledge of multi-state sales tax regulations and compliance.

Proven expertise in month-end close processes and account reconciliation.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
