Accounting Manager/Supervisor

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager or Supervisor to lead and oversee key financial operations within our organization in Savannah, Georgia. This role requires someone who excels in managing accounting processes, ensuring compliance, and guiding teams toward timely and accurate results. Responsibilities:

Supervise the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded and reported.

Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring entries are complete and compliant with accounting standards.

Coordinate and support financial statement audits, providing necessary documentation and responses to auditors.

Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of accounts to maintain the integrity of financial records.

Prepare, review, and approve journal entries to ensure proper documentation and compliance.

Utilize NetSuite and Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data effectively.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and address any discrepancies.

Develop and implement best practices for accounting procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Provide mentorship and guidance to the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Requirements - Proven experience in accounting management or supervisory roles, with a strong track record of success.

Expertise in month-end close processes and general ledger maintenance.

Familiarity with financial statement audits and account reconciliation.

Proficiency in using NetSuite and Microsoft Excel for financial operations.

Strong knowledge of journal entries and accounting principles.

Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

Ability to lead and motivate teams effectively, fostering a positive work environment.

Strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
