Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up, operate, and adjust CNC mills, lathes, and machining centers while interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and machining instructions. The role includes performing tooling changes, offsets, and program edits, as well as inspecting components with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools. The machinist will monitor machine performance to maintain production efficiency, troubleshoot machining challenges in collaboration with engineering and supervisors, and keep a clean, safe, and organized work area. Additional responsibilities include performing routine machine maintenance, reporting issues promptly, and contributing to a team environment focused on quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and adjust CNC mills, lathes, and machining centers.

Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and machining instructions.

Perform tooling changes, offsets, and program edits.

Inspect components using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools.

Monitor machine performance to maintain production efficiency.

Troubleshoot machining challenges with engineering and supervisors.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Perform routine machine maintenance and report issues promptly.

Contribute to a team environment focused on quality and continuous improvement.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in CNC machining.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Experience in setting up machines.

Competence in performing quality checks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with machine operating.

Familiarity with program editing and offsets.

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $79040.00/yr.
