Job Overview

The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts according to engineering specifications. Pay Rate: $19.50/hour

A Day In The Life

Every day at Hubbell is different and you'll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you'll make a difference by:

Preparing and operating CNC machines for tasks such as drilling, turning, grinding, and milling

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications

Loading raw materials and parts onto machines

Performing test runs and verifying outputs meet specifications

Monitoring machine operations and adjusting for optimal results

Inspecting and measuring finished products for accuracy and quality

Performing routine maintenance and daily checks on equipment

Documenting quality and quantity of produced parts

What will help you thrive in this role?

High School Diploma or equivalent (required)

Certificate or diploma from a CNC machining school or technical college (required)

Proven experience operating CNC machinery and using precision measurement tools

Ability to read and interpret mechanical and engineering documents

Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills

Attention to detail and a results-driven approach
