Snapshot of Your Day:

We are looking for a Technical Sales Project Manager in Houston, TX to develop cost estimates, and proposals for Modernizations and Upgrades (M&U) projects and new unit projects.

How You'll Make an Impact:

Oversee the production of emergency stop valves (Gimpel Valves) and steam turbine components for nuclear power plants in the U.S., Canada, and France.

Manage cross-functional teams, including supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, and quality, to ensure compliance with stringent customer specifications.

Leverage expertise in nuclear regulatory requirements to evaluate customer specifications and ensure the successful manufacturing and delivery of critical components.

Conduct risk analysis, definition of risk contingency strategies and costs, and establish cash flow and delivery incoterms (DDP, FCA, DAP).

Manage application of hedging formulas to mitigate foreign exchange risk.

Establish terms & conditions with clients to enter into various contract forms, such as master service agreements, new unit contracts, long term project (LTP) contracts, and alliance agreements to capture technical requirements derived from RFQ.

Create and maintain Salesforce opportunities and present limit of approval to management for project authorization.

Responsible for business development within the nuclear power sector.

Develop a business model and communicate a corporate position in pursuit of new nuclear opportunities, specifically small modular reactors and advanced reactors.

Complete technical analysis of nuclear reactor technologies to create a short-list of reactor companies and identify new nuclear opportunities across Canada and the United States.

What You Bring:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of experience.

Will accept pre - bachelor's degree experience.

Experience must include 2 years with: project management;

Knowledge of nuclear power plants;

Nuclear steam supply systems (NSSS) and balance of plant (BoP);

Understand manufacturing drawings, welding procedures, inspection specifications;

Steam turbines and generators;

Understanding of thermodynamic cycles;

Salesforce CRM system;

Steam turbine technical analysis; and

Understanding P&ID and heat balance diagrams for nuclear power plants.

Experience must also include: bid management;

Understanding of codes and standards related to the nuclear power industry (ISO 19443 and ISO 9001);

Small modular reactor technologies (light water reactor, pressure water reactor, molten salt reactor, boiling water reactor), market landscape.
