Occupational Nurse

Job Purpose:

To provide health services to employees, prevent work-related illness/injury, and promote overall occupational health.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Conduct employee health assessments and screenings

Manage workplace injuries and medical emergencies

Maintain health records and documentation (confidential)

Develop and deliver health promotion programs

Monitor and report workplace hazards and incidents

Administer vaccines, first aid, and medications as needed

Support compliance with OSHA, CDC, and other regulatory agencies

Collaborate with management on wellness initiatives

Provide counseling and referrals for mental health and other concerns

Qualifications:

Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN) preferred

CPR/First Aid certification

Required Skills:

Strong clinical assessment skills

Knowledge of occupational health regulations (OSHA, ADA, etc.)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and handle confidential information
