Overview

Kemin is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team in Des Moines, Iowa! This position will manage business units accounts payables in a timely and accurate manner, maintain documentation for compliance to policies and procedures, inventory, and other expense reporting. The ideal candidate will have a high level of accountability for their work, be able to work with minimum supervision, and have a good attendance record.

Responsibilities

Accurately scan, code, and key invoices.

Able to manage time to ensure transactions are recorded timely and accurately.

Follow and document processes and procedures.

Work across departments and business units to resolve issues with transactions.

Provide accurate data consistently.

Reconcile accounts.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent with 1-3 years of applicable experience as an Accounting professional.

Able to read, write, and handle basic math problems.

Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Office, and Excel.

Able to learn new computer applications.

Detail oriented.

Written and oral communication skills.

Knowledge of accounting principles.

Able to see and read numbers.

Knowledge of bookkeeping procedures.
