Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Toledo, Ohio. In this Contract to permanent opportunity, you will play a pivotal role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in invoice processing, and supporting compliance efforts for a growing portfolio. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounts payable processes and demonstrate adaptability in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

Process invoices with accuracy and ensure proper coding to the correct accounts.

Manage payment methods such as Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and check runs.

Monitor and maintain compliance with financial procedures for monthly bill processing.

Transition physical bills to digital formats to streamline operations.

Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and improve efficiency in accounts payable workflows.

Prepare and review reports detailing accounts payable activities.

Requirements

Proven experience in accounts payable processes, including coding invoices and account coding.

Proficiency in handling Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and executing check runs.

Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in financial documentation.

Familiarity with transitioning physical bills to digital systems.
