New York University Rory Meyers College of Nursing is committed to the development of the next generation of nurse scientists and is seeking to fill a postdoctoral associate role for Spring 2026. This position is initially awarded as a one-year but renewable annually based on performance and renewal of the grant from NIH . The position involves postdoctoral work in conducting large-dataset analyses using advanced statistical models. Experience in the use of various datasets, e.g., UK Biobank, All of Us, Medicare and Medicaid administrative data (CMS), is also desirable. The postdoctoral associate will engage in conducting and running analysis, reporting the study results, publishing, presenting, and grant-writing, in addition to advancing their own area of research. The postdoctoral associate will be under the mentorship and direction of Prof. Xiang Qi and receive professional development and academic networking opportunities. The position is available immediately and will be open until filled.

Position Details:

Approximate Start and End Dates: This is a full-time, fixed-term, grant-funded position expected to run from June 2026 through May 31, 2027, subject to continuation and possible extension based on the availability of continued grant funding.

Appointment Type: Full-time, fixed-term, grant-funded position.

Expected Work Hours: 35 hours per week; The role follows a Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. schedule with some flexibility.

Location: Hybrid. The position requires at least three days of in-person work per week, including field-based research activities and College-designated common in-person days.

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $62,500-$65,000 (based on years of relevant postgraduate experience, both at NYU and elsewhere). New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.
