We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to provide comprehensive administrative and project support across multiple departments and teams. This role plays a key part in maintaining smooth day-to-day operations by managing communications, supporting small projects, and ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in all work. Experience supporting events or working within philanthropic, nonprofit, or research-focused environments is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for phone calls, visitors, and written correspondence; manage calendars and scheduling with precision.

Prepare and coordinate reports, proposals, and presentations, including materials that may be technical or data-driven in nature.

Maintain organized filing systems, manuals, and personnel records while adhering to strict confidentiality standards.

Support planning and execution of small projects, including tracking resources, identifying issues, and supporting resolutions.

Perform routine administrative duties such as expense reporting, supply coordination, and event-related support.

Provide basic training and guidance to staff and guest workers on standard operating procedures.

Collaborate effectively as a team member, occasionally serving in a lead or support role depending on project needs.

This is a Contract position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
