Nexus Family Healing is hiring an Administrative Assistant for Grand Prairie School at our Onarga, IL location!

Nexus-Onarga Family Healing is located approximately 30 miles south of Kankakee and 45 miles north of Champaign-Urbana, just a few miles off of I-57 on a historic site in Onarga, IL.

Nexus Onarga provides boys ages 10 to 20 years old a structured, homelike environment where they can safely address a variety of unhealthy behaviors and mental health issues as well as childhood trauma. Nexus Onarga youth attend our onsite private, therapeutic Grand Prairie School which offers special education with small classes for grades 5th-12th.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

Year-round school through the summer with holidays off &

pre-scheduled paid break weeks off

8 additional days of paid time off per calendar year

Pay:\$21-23 per year

Position Summary: The Administrative Assistant provides clerical, reception, administrative and guest relations support within the assigned Nexus Family Healing agency. Each position will perform a variety of administrative and support functions for one or more program areas and will serve as the first point of contact for Nexus Family Healing clients and families who visit the respective Agency.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide general administrative and clerical support, including document preparation, email correspondence, scheduling, and file management.

Maintain confidential client records; open, update, and close files in accordance with policy.

Prepare reports, enter data, and distribute information to appropriate departments and stakeholders.

Schedule client, family, staff, and leadership appointments and meetings; send calendar invites and confirmations.

Support program operations by tracking client information, treatment dates, and required documentation.
