Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for our night shift. This full-time position requires working 37.5 hours per week, with shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including every other weekend and holiday.Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Experience: Minimum of 1-year experience as a licensed CNA in a long-term care setting. Certifications: NYS Nursing Assistant Certification and BLS certification (must be through AHA or RQI).Key Responsibilities Assist residents with daily living needs such as hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, and skin care according to their care plan. Ensure resident safety and maintain a clean environment by responding to call lights, using safety equipment, and preventing falls. Support residents during meals by delivering trays, assisting with feeding, and respecting food preferences. Assist with mobility and rehabilitation needs, including range of motion exercises, walking, transfers, and proper positioning. Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure. Measure and record residents' weight, intake, and output. Facilitate the admission, transfer, and discharge processes for residents. Provide social and emotional support to residents through interaction and companionship. Maintain confidentiality and uphold residents' rights at all times. Report any resident concerns, changes, or refusals to the nurse promptly. Complete all required documentation in a timely manner according to protocol.
