Job Summary and Qualifications
Under the leadership of the Corporate Director of Operations, the Corporate Operations Manager is responsible for planning and executing infrastructure and operations projects across the 5 Patient Logistics Centers field locations and corporate centralized operations. This individual will drive the continuous improvement of the quality, usability, and adoption of the tools and resources available to the PLC field teams. Projects will be focused on technology, emergency preparedness, labor & productivity, process improvement, and the alignment/acquisition of new facilities, business units, and functions. The Operations Manager, with direction from the Director of Operations, will serve as the business owner of multiple initiatives - driving strategic prioritization, planning implementations and driving project execution.
What you will do in this role:
Identify opportunities to improve the quality of the tools/resources available to the PLC teams.
Key contributor to the development, planning, and execution of PLC programs and projects
Supports integration efforts for new facility acquisitions and service line expansions
Supports efforts related to expansions and consolidations of PLC locations
Partners with other corporate/field service-line leaders as needed to maintain alignment on specific initiatives and/or general strategic direction.
In conjunction with the Director/AVP of Operations, leads and executes the technology strategy for the PLC organization including solution development and implementation
Supports PLC emergency preparedness initiatives and serves as key team member for Emergency Operations Council activations and hospital evacuation efforts
Supports onboarding and ongoing skill development of PLC leaders, including site visits as needed
Supports alignment with key service lines, business areas, departments, and programs to support HCA and PLC and to increase collaboration for growth across HCA
Presents at meetings when needed or as substitute for Director of Operations, audience may include both field and corporate leadership
Supports all other duties as assigned from the Corporate Ops Director and other members of the corporate PLC Team

What qualifications you will need:
College Graduate Required
MBA or MHA Preferred
RN licensure preferred
Prior management/supervisory experience in a healthcare related field preferred
Minimum 1 year of leadership experience
The ability to be strategic in bringing ideas to the leadership table
Participative management style and an ability to work in a matrix environment
Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people, including but not limited to Corporate/Division leadership, hospital leadership, staff from information technology and clinical backgrounds, physicians, and external vendors
Must be independent, driven, self-motivated, and passionate with an exceptional work ethic, executive presence, integrity and presentation skills, both oral and written
Demonstrate leadership competency in customer needs and expectations, human resource management, financial outcomes, strategic vision and execution, marketing initiatives, and continuous improvement skills
Ability to work well under pressure on concurrent, multidisciplinary projects
Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities
Ability to establish credibility and be decisive
Solid level of strategic acumen, with strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems on a timely basis
Strong administrative, management and personnel organizational skills
